First look at Lane Bryant Fall 2015 Collection (Photos)

By: Farrah Estrella

The pictures for the new Lane Bryant Fall 2015 collection are out, as well as the pictures for the Livi Collection, which is their new lifestyle-inspire line and Cacique.

Most of these items won’t be available until about August-September but here are some of the trends that we saw on the lookbook:

-Camo (pink and green)
-Leopard print (grey)
-Fringe
-Lace
-Capes
-Jackets
-Faux Fur
-Boots

I have to say Lane Bryant is really stepping up their game when it comes to shoes. I have been very happy with the shoes that I am buying from them lately and the ones coming up for Fall 2015 are very nice and right on trend. I mean what girl doesn’t like shoes, right?.

Talk show host, actress, comedian and author Wendy Williams debuted her new clothing line the “Wendy Williams Collection” LIVE on HSN this past weekend and it was a huge success, almost everything in the collection sold out. We caught up with Wendy at the HSN headquarters in St. Petersburg, Florida after the first of two shows that she was doing that day and asked her a few questions about the big debut, check it out:

1-What made you decide to team up with HSN for your clothing collection?
About a year ago we got together (HSN and I), I flew to Tampa and then after that I started working with my New York manufacturers. The inspiration for the collection was my own wardrobe and also my Wendy followers. I never thought that what I wear on my show was so important to my followers. My clothes became like my co-star, people are very interested in what I wear on the show. Everything in the collection is under $100 dollars. I don't like to spend a lot of money on clothes, I rather spend that money on a good handbag, shoes or accessories...on diamonds, I love diamonds.

2-What is your favorite piece from the collection?
My wrap dress because it is timeless and ageless. I have been wearing wrap dresses since I was 21 years old when I got my first radio job out of college. I still have it after all this years because it is timeless. It's easy to wear and anyone can wear it. I wore it when I was 21, now that I am 50 I can still wear one and my mother who is 80 years old can wear one. A good wrap dress can take you from a funeral, to a party, to the office, it is that versatile.

3-We love that your collection has plus sizes, how important it is for you to cater to the plus size market?
It was very important. I wanted to make sure that the line was good for everyone from a size XS to a 3x and that was difficult, to find something that looked good on everyone. I didn't want to just put my name on it and say here is a size 3x, I wanted for it to look good. The fabrics were important and the amount of stretch was also important.

4-What can we expect in the future from the Wendy Williams Collection?
I just previewed my holiday collection and it is fabulous, you can expect a lot of sequins, feathers and brocade. I want to continue to do this line forever.

5-We always end our interviews by asking our guest for their favorite quote or for some words of wisdom, what is yours?
"The bigger the hair the smaller the hips" and lead with a smile.
