Target’s AVA & VIV Fall Collection featuring plus size bloggers Gabi, Chastity and Nicolette

By: Farrah Estrella

Gabi, Nicolette and Chastity for Target's AVA & VIV

Plus size bloggers Nicolette Mason, Gabi Gregg of Gabifresh and Chastity Garner of Garnerstyle have teamed up with Target for their new AVA & VIV Fall collection.

You might remember that in the Spring they worked with Target on the launch of the AVA & VIV collection, Target’s new signature plus size line. This time around the girls had more input on the collection, from the color palette to the designs, they even shot the Lookbook for it.

Gabi said about the collection: “I love fall; it’s the best fashion”. She also said: “Getting to see how our input lead to the actual collection was amazing. I told the designers at Target that I love soft pant joggers and printed sets, and I’m happy to see they designed more of those”.

Chastity said: “The prints from AVA & VIV this fall are absolutely perfect”, she also added: "They can easily be worked into your current wardrobe as you transition to the next season”.

Nicolette said: “The fall line is also versatile, there are pieces in this collection that I absolutely love that you can wear from work to weekend and look great”.

My favorite pieces are the wrap dress, the green pants and the printed midi skirt. The collection is available in sizes 14 to 28 and prices range from $10 to $80. Check out a few pictures from the collection below. What do you guys think? Leave your comments.

By: Farrah Estrella

Latina Bombshell Jennifer Lopez has teamed up with Endless Jewelry for their new F/W 2015 Collection.

Jennifer, who also serves as Brand Ambassador and Co-Designer of the collection, created a beautiful 3-String bracelet, leather necklaces and a very special signature piece, the Jennifer Lopez Silver Bracelet.

The 46 year old Diva looks flawless in the campaign ads for the collection. (See the ads below).

Personally, I love silver and rose gold and of course Jennifer Lopez style, everything she touches turns to gold, she is just amazing.

In an interview about the collection Jennifer said: 'Each charm is versatile and complements any outfit you choose to wear and I created them so you can keep it simple or dress it up. The basic idea is to have "endless" options when creating your own unique combinations, no matter the occasion".

Endless Jewelry is designed to be fun, festive and elegant, Yes!! That’s me all day long.

Catherines first ‘Art of the Mix’ Style Ambassador Poll Giveaway for August 2015

By: Farrah Estrella

Hola Estrellitas!!

Plus Size retailer Catherines is having their first Style Ambassador “Art of The Mix” Poll Giveaway this month and I am honored to be a part of it.

Catherines approached four bloggers: Hailey from the blog “Divine Mrs. Diva”, Liz from With Wonder and Whimsy”, Marcy from “Fearlessly Just Me and of course me..lol..Farrah from the “Estrella Fashion Report”. They asked us to style our favorite look from their new “Art of the Mix” Fall collection that was featured in their August mailer.

Some of the trends that they have on the mailer include:  Fringe movement, liquid layers, the duster dress animal instincts, true stretch Jeans, pattern play, girlfriend jeans and painterly prints.

Pretty cool, right? I chose the fringe movement trend and can you tell from the pictures that I was having fun? yes! it's a great and comfortable look. Because I live in Florida, I wore sandals but in the Fall, which is only a few months away, you could wear this look with boots, you can also wear jeans or a floppy hat with it for a more Boho Chic look.

What I like the most about my tribal look poncho is of course the print, the fringe at the end of it and how it moves, the length (that's important because it covers well), it fits well and the sheer fabric is light and soft to the touch.

The leggings are very thick and not see through at all like most leggings are.

Head over to the Catherines Facebook page and vote for your favorite look for a chance to win a ***$500 Fall wardrobe from Catherines. Voting starts today August 3rd to August 20th, 2015 and no purchase is necessary to win.

About the outfit

#OOTD Printed dress by Alfani from Macy's

By: Farrah Estrella

Hola Estrellitas!!

I am so in love with this outfit that I wore yesterday to the 2nd Annual Curve Nation Expo in Orlando, Florida.

First of all, I love the print and the coral/salmon accents on it that’s why I went with it. Although it was a little short in length for my taste, I still went with it.

I was a hard time trying to decide if I wanted to wear black shoes or coral, I went with the coral because it was during the day. (See picture below).

About the outfit
-Dress by Alfani from Macy’s
-Shoes Vince Camuto
-Belt from Lane Bryant
-Jewelry from Charming Charlie

BTW Charming Charlie is amazing!! If you haven’t been to a Charming Charlie store I suggest that you go online and check them out. They have jewelry in every color and other accessories (scarves, clutches, hats etc..), it’s accessory heaven for sure…lol..=).

Check out more pictures below, I hope you guys like this look as much I did, until next time..

Live, Love & Inspire
xoxo
Farrah

The 2nd Annual Curve Nation Expo in Orlando (Photos)

By: Farrah Estrella

Hola Estrellitas!!

Yesterday, I had the opportunity to attend the 2nd Annual Curve Nation Expo in Orlando, Florida. I was so sad that I couldn't attend last year and this year I made sure that I cleared my schedule for it.

The Curve Nation Expo is an annual three day event held in July that celebrates plus size fashion, beauty and women and aims to also educate the Curvy community. This year's event included a vendor fair, a model boot-camp with Plus Model Christina Mendez, a pool party, several workshops, celebrities meet and greets, a pop up shop and a fashion show that was hosted by Gwen DeVoe.

The workshops at the Expo were held by some fabulous women including Ms. Gwen DeVoe, CEO & founder of Full Figured Fashion Week (“Reinvention, Relevancy & Business Tips”), Miss America Lifetime Queen Miss Debbie Shannon (“Plus Size Pagentry from A to Z”), Blogger Essie Golden and Reality TV star Sabrina Servance of the show “Big Women, Big Love” (“How do I look Style 101”) and Tip Jones, Editor in chief of POSE Magazine (Confidence U: How to Succeed at Anything").

This year the Expo was held at the fabulous Reunion Resort one of the top ten best hotels in Orlando. My favorite part of the event is the fashion of course, 18 designers participated in the fashion show and they came to Orlando from as far as California, Atlanta, Tampa, Texas, Chicago and other cities just to name a few.

Here is the list:
