Hola Estrellitas!!

I had the opportunity to attend plus size retailer Ashley Stewart Sample Sale last week and I picked out a few items that I am truly in love with.

Today, I am wearing a blue and white ensemble. I love pencil skirts, they are so sleek and chic. This particular one has a batik print, very African inspired and I am a fan of African fashion. You guys know by now how I feel about cobalt blue, I love that color, I think it looks great on everyone.

One of the things that I love about Ashley Stewart is that they are a very trendy brand and very affordable. If you are a plus size woman and you want to be on trend, head over to Ashley Stewart. They now have expanded their sizes too and they go up to a size 32, isn't that great??. Love it!!.(They previously only carry up to a size 26).

Whether you are a size 4, 20, 24 like me or 32, it doesn't matter. Fashion is my outlet, for others it may be something different, it could be painting or music, but whatever it is...Go out there girls and live your lives, we only have one life to live and you better make it a good one and worth remembering. Leave your mark in the world.

Until next time...Live, Love & Inspire
Farrah

EFR Travels: My Staycation at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tampa

By: Farrah Estrella

Hola Estrellitas!!

A few weeks ago, I had the opportunity to stay at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tampa with my Blogger friend Marie Denee of the Blog The Curvy Fashionista, who invited me to join her on a 2 day press tour of the hotel and it was a fabulous experience.

It was sort of a "Staycation" for me since I live here in Tampa but I haven't been to the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tampa since they opened in 2004, that was more than 12 years ago. The place is very impressive, they have expanded it since I first visited and it now has numerous restaurants, gift shops, a spa, a gym and an outdoor pool . It is like having a slice of Vegas in Tampa for sure.

The Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tampa offers many different packages and the one we received was the "Amplified Package" which included having a Fender guitar in our room, complete with a floor amp and headphones, as well a VIP tour of the hotel.

Day 1 after our check-in, we took the tour. It was great to learn about the Seminole Tribe, the history of the hotel, the memorabilia and overall fun facts about the Hard Rock Hotel.

After our tour, we ate at the Hard Rock Cafe and if you go, you should try their freshly made burgers, delicious!! nothing is frozen , everything is freshly made just for you. BTW, the chef came to our table to say hello and how cool it was to find out that it was a woman!! Girl power, yes!! Chef Tina was Fab and she rides a Harley too!!..=)

When it comes to hotels, it is all about the details. The hotel has a music themed, Rock & Roll vibe of course. There are guitars and guitar symbols everywhere, from the door handles to the hotel pillow cases. Music quotes and Rock and Roll memorabilia adorn the walls and even the elevators and bathrooms.

On Day 2 of our stay, we enjoyed a spa day and a really nice massage at the Rock Spa & Salon. I went for the "Smooth Operator" massage and I totally recommend it. I felt rejuvenated , relaxed and my skin was thanking me for it.

As you guys already know, not only am I a foodie but I love me some desserts and the Rise Kitchen & Bakery is the place to indulge on some of the most delicious desserts on site. We tried the fruit tart and the banana pudding..Yummy!!

After a relaxing massage and a delicious dessert we enjoyed the outdoor pool and rented a private cabana for the afternoon.

We finished the night with a delicious dinner at the Council Oak Steaks & Seafood restauranta 5 star steakhouse complete with a glass kitchen where you can see the chef cooking your meal. A display of steaks welcomes you at the door (they have a butcher shop) and if you are a frequent guest, you can even get your steak knife engraved with your name, how cool is that!!.

After 2 days of relaxation, I feel like I can take on the world.

Sometimes you need to get away and regroup. It doesn't have to be far away from home as I learned that week. There are many great places right in our own cities that we can enjoy and in my case re-discover. No need to travel far.

Big thanks to Marie Denee The Curvy Fashionista for inviting me to join her on her press tour, I had an amazing time.

Thank you guys for following me on my journey and I hope you enjoyed this travel blog. I will be sharing more of my travels with you guys for sure, fun times!!.

To book your stay at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tampa visit their website at www.seminolehardrocktampa.com.

Disclosure: This was a press trip, where my services and stay was comped, but my experience and extra amenities purchased were my own.

Editor's Pick: It Cosmetics 'Confidence in a Cream' Product Review

By: Farrah Estrella
Confidence in a Cream-It Cosmetics-Moisturizer- Beauty Products-

Hola Estrellitas!!

I have been using It Cosmetics "Confidence in a Cream" moisturizing cream for a while now and I definitely would recommend it to all of you.

Now that I am almost 40 (don't tell anybody), I have been looking into what I call "Lotions & Potions" lol.. just my way of saying "stuff to avoid getting old and wrinkly". This product so far has been the best I tried and let me tell you why.

I have a combination skin, it gets really dry in certains areas like around my nose but then I get really greasy or shiny in others, like my forehead or my cheeks. What I like about this product is that it is made for all skin types. It makes your face feel very hydrated and moist. I have honestly seen my pores reduced in size since I started using it and my skin feels really soft.

Beauty Blogger-Editor's Pick-Moisturizer- Confidence in a Cream-

I have also used several other products from It Cosmetics like the Bye Bye Undereye Concealer and it is also fabulous. The only thing about "Confidence in a Cream" that I have read on online reviews is the smell. A lot of people feel like the scent is very strong but I doesn't bother me. I am honestly not bothered by the scent because I love the results, I can live with it. The cream is very thick and a little bit goes a long way.

Another thing that I notice about this brand is that when it comes to foundations and concealers, they don't have a lot of shades for darker skin, there is only like one shade. I have recommended the brand to a few friends and they can't wear it because it doesn't match their skin tone. Hopefully they will expand their colors in the near future.

But other than that guys, if you are looking for a moisturizer , give this one a try, it is super good!!. I got mine as a gift in a goodie bag and then I went to Ulta and bought another jar.

Shop for It Cosmetics "Confidence in a Cream" at your local Ulta store, online at www.ulta.com and also on the brand's website at www.itcosmetics.com.

Have you guys tried It Cosmetics before? What do you think of their products? Leave your comments below and let's chat!!.
