OOTD Stars Sweater Dress by Eloquii

By: Farrah Estrella

Estrella Fashion Report- OOTD- Sweater Dress- Stars

Hola Estrellitas!!

Today, I hosted the Tampa leg of the Full Figured Fashion Week 2016 Casting Tour and I wanted to share with you guys what I wore to the event.

I saw this dress on the Eloquii website a few weeks ago and I knew right there and then that I had to have it. You guys know how much I love stars, right? lol..Another thing that made me get it was that I have never worn a sweater dress before.

I decided to wear a red shoe with it to add a pop of color and the jacket because that is how they styled their lookbook model, with a jacket over her shoulder and I thought that was kind of cool.

What do you guys think about this look? Leave your comments below.

EFR exclusive interview with Jewelry designer Deborah Gaspar

By: Farrah Estrella
Jewelry Designer Deborah Gaspar

Dallas based jewelry designer Deborah Gaspar of the Deborah Gaspar jewelry collection brand, has been creating jewelry designs for over thirteen years now.

Her unique designs of handcrafted jewelry and belts made out of mother of pearl and natural stones, have been worn by many celebrities and have graced many magazine covers. Deborah is very hands on with her brand, she attends numerous trunk shows and makes personal appearances throughout the country at Neiman Marcus and Saks Fifth Avenue stores, as well as in numerous art festivals and exclusive boutiques.

We caught up with Deborah recently at a trunk show she held at the 43rd Annual Art Festival Beth-Ethel in St. Petersburg, Florida, check out our exclusive interview with her below.

EFR-Tell us about your new Spring/Summer 2016 jewelry collection?
DG:
The new collection is very versatile; I am always inspired by the ocean that’s why you see a lot of blues and greens like blue opal and turquoise. I am using a lot of gold, silver and cooper this season especially in my tassel necklaces. I have a collection called “Iced Coffee” where I used Murano glass that is coming out next week.

EFR: You work with “Mother of Pearl” a lot, why do you like that material so much?
DG:
That’s a great question; mother of pearl is my signature. I really like that material because it is like a chameleon; it takes the color of what you are wearing. It is a smart stone and it is very different. I believe in timeless classics and I try to stay true to who I am as a designer, I like that and my clients like that.

EFR: Philanthropy is a big part of your career; you donate 20% of your sales to various charitable organizations. Why is it important to you to give back?
DG:
I just think that there is just not enough of that in the world. We need to give back to the community, that makes me feel good.

EFR: What is next for the Deborah Gaspar Jewelry Collection brand?
DG: I want to work with more resorts, do more fundraising events and art festivals to benefit the community. I want to continue to stay true to myself and my brand. I also want to continue making one of kind pieces; I don’t want to mass produce. It is all about quality and uniqueness; I want to keep that with my brand.

EFR: We always end our interviews by asking our guest for their favorite quote or words of wisdom, what are the words that you live by?
DG:
“Styles, like everything else change, Style, does not”- Linda Ellerbee (Journalist).
